A striking circa 1825-1835 emerald and diamond brooch, crafted in a bold cartouche form typical of early 19th-century Continental design. The piece centres on a vibrant step-cut emerald, its strong green hue framed by four hand cut old cushion-cut diamonds that bring soft antique brilliance and depth.

The goldwork is exceptional—crisp scrolls, acanthus leaf motifs and chased detailing that highlight the natural richness of the metal. This is early Victorian/late Georgian craftsmanship at its finest: sculptural, expressive and beautifully balanced.
