ORANGE PADPARADSCHA SAPPHIRE & Diamonds Ring
A SIGNIFICANT DEEP-TONE ORANGE SAPPHIRE & DIAMOND HALO RING — 3.23ct CENTRE
A commanding and exceptionally rare example of an imperial-orange padparadscha-tone sapphire, securely set in an 18ct yellow and white gold diamond cluster mount. The central oval mixed-cut sapphire measures 8.31 × 7.03 × 6.45 mm and weighs an impressive 3.23 carats. Its colour grade—Tone 7—places it firmly in the “dark” category on the GIA/industry scale, delivering a deep, saturated orange that remains visually rich under both natural and electric light.
The sapphire is held by yellow-gold claws and framed by a crisp halo of round brilliant-cut diamonds, with additional diamonds running along the elevated white-gold shoulders and into the outer bezel. The ring features 74 white diamonds totalling 1.70 carats, G/H colour and VS–P1 clarity (SI average), delivering serious scintillation from every angle. Adding a considered finishing touch: two yellow diamonds, approx. 0.04ct each, set to either side of the centre for a subtle tonal bridge between the gold and the orange sapphire.
Stamped 750 for 18ct gold.
