A refined Mikimoto cultured Akoya pearl necklace suite, comprising a graduated strand of high-quality pearls, a detachable diamond-set pendant, and a matching pair of pearl earrings.

The necklace is composed of 54 well-matched Akoya cultured pearls, measuring approximately 7.5mm to 8mm, displaying strong lustre with clean surfaces and subtle overtones. The strand is finished with a classic 18 carat gold Mikimoto clasp, signed with the maker’s mark and stamped ‘750’.

Suspended from the necklace is a detachable circular pendant, set with a row of brilliant-cut diamonds and centred with a larger pearl drop, allowing the piece to be worn either as a classic strand or with added detail.

The suite is completed by a pair of matching pearl screw-back earrings in 18 carat gold, also signed by Mikimoto.

A versatile and elegant set, combining traditional pearl craftsmanship with a more contemporary Mikimoto design, dating to the late 20th century.
