The terminals are accented with matching circular-cut pink tourmalines, creating a balanced and attractive colour contrast typical of the period.

Details
• Circa: 1900
• Gemstones: Circular-cut green tourmaline centre with circular-cut pink tourmalines to the terminals
• Diamonds: Old brilliant-cut diamonds, approximately 0.40 carat total (Est. VS-VVS, H-I-J-K Colour)
• Mount: 14K gold with silver top
• Length: 40 mm
• Gross weight: 5 grams
• Condition: Good antique condition with light wear; replacement clasp to reverse. Rare green apple central Tourmaline and the colour is spectacular! Replacement pin at later stage in perfect condition. Normal wear on tourmalines, still stunning colour and sparkle.

The diamonds are mounted in silver settings to enhance their brightness, with the brooch backed in gold — a classic construction used in fine jewellery of the late Victorian and Edwardian era. The delicate open scrollwork and balanced proportions give the piece a light, elegant character while still providing presence when worn.

Tourmaline was widely favoured in turn-of-the-century jewellery for its vivid range of colours, and the combination of green and pink stones adds a subtle vibrancy to this refined design. The brooch remains versatile and wearable today, equally suited to a lapel, dress, or scarf.

The gemstones remain bright and lively, with light wear consistent with age. The clasp to the reverse is a later replacement.

A charming and wearable example of Edwardian gemstone jewellery, combining elegant scrollwork with the lively colour of natural tourmalines.
