An exceptionally elegant and unusual Edwardian lavaliere necklace in 9 carat gold, centred with vivid natural pink and apple green tourmalines within an exquisitely sculptural openwork design.

This beautifully balanced piece displays flowing whiplash curves and subtle Arts & Crafts influence, with delicate seed pearl detailing accentuating the graceful heart-form pendant. The richly saturated green tourmaline is suspended beneath a fine bezel-set pink tourmaline connector, creating a refined elongated silhouette that sits beautifully when worn.

The necklace possesses a striking aesthetic uncommon in surviving Edwardian jewellery, combining softness and drama with remarkable restraint. The clean lines and airy negative space give the piece a surprisingly modern feel despite its early 20th century origin.

Both tourmalines are natural stones with excellent clarity and strong colour saturation, remaining in very well-preserved condition with no visible abrasions. The chain and pendant are stamped and fully tested as 9 carat gold.
