The report further records the beads as translucent, a desirable characteristic in jadeite jade.

The outer strand is composed of generously proportioned jade beads in soft celadon and pale green tones, elegantly framing an inner graduated strand of richer green jade beads. Together they create depth, movement and architectural presence while maintaining a harmonious and sophisticated palette. The beads display attractive natural mottling, subtle colour variation and the gentle waxy lustre associated with jadeite jade.
