Art Deco 18ct White Gold Diamond & Sapphire Ribbon Bow Brooch — Original 1920s

A beautifully preserved Art Deco brooch from the 1920s, crafted in 18ct white gold and designed as an elegant ribbon bow — a classic motif of the period, executed here with crisp geometry and refined sparkle. The brooch is set throughout with natural white diamonds, estimated at 1.50 carats (Est. VS-VVS, H-I-J Colour), arranged in layered linear rows that emphasise the bow’s sweeping, architectural silhouette.

At the centre sits a vibrant, faceted blue sapphire of approximately 0.60 carats, bezel-set to anchor the composition and add a rich hit of colour. The combination of icy diamonds and deep sapphire is quintessentially Deco: sophisticated, balanced, and effortlessly glamorous.
