Edwardian Diamond Star Brooch / Pendant

An elegant early 20th-century diamond star brooch, designed as an eight-rayed celestial motif and set throughout with old-cut diamonds. The diamonds are individually grain-set along knife-edge rays, centring on a cluster that enhances depth and brilliance. Total diamond weight approximately 3.4–3.6 carats.

Crafted in yellow gold (unmarked, consistent with the period, but tests as 15k Gold), the brooch is finely constructed with excellent symmetry and sparkle. The reverse is fitted with a removable brooch-pin (see photos) and concealed pendant loops, allowing the piece to be worn either way — a classic and highly desirable feature of Edwardian and early Art Deco jewellery.
