The brooch is designed as a naturalistic spray of blossoming flowers and foliage, a motif characteristic of Victorian jewellery inspired by the beauty of the natural world. Three flower heads form the focal point of the composition, each centred with clusters of 3 sparkling old cut diamonds each (Est. VS-VVS, H-I-J Colour)and surrounded by lustrous pearls forming delicately shaped petals.

Gracefully curving stems and leaves extend outward, set throughout with additional pearls which add softness and texture to the design. The openwork structure gives the piece a light, sculptural quality while the rich yellow gold mount provides warmth and contrast to the pearls and diamonds.
