This handmade platinum thistle flower brooch (stamped 950) is a sharp example of mid-century glamour and skilled craftsmanship. The centre is packed with well-matched cabochon blue sapphires, totalling approximately 9.50 carats, forming a rich, sculptural core. From there, the metalwork sweeps outward into fluid, sculpted petals and a long, elegant stem, all drenched in brilliant white diamonds. The diamonds total roughly 2.08 carats, estimated G–J colour and VS–P1 clarity, delivering strong sparkle across the entire silhouette.

The brooch measures 7.1 cm in length and weighs 18.1 grams, giving it the presence you expect from a true mid-century inspired design. The condition is excellent, with bright, lively diamonds and crisp detailing throughout.
